Scarborough 41 Club November 2016 meeting and charity fundraising evening

The November meeting will be an all-ticket opt-in meeting on Friday, 11 November – our charity meal / musical entertainment / cash-free fun casino at the Crown Spa in aid of our supported charity this year, Basics Plus.

Please note:

1)      This counts as an ‘opt-in’ 41 Club night, and therefore members will be paid for, and need only pay for any guests/ partners that they invite.

2)      We do still need to know who will be attending for catering purposes of course – numbers to Steve Slade please.

3)      The casino part of the evening is a fun event only. There will be some prizes but no actual money will be lost or won.

4)       The deadline for 41 Club members to obtain their tickets for the Casino Night is 31 October.

Basics Plus was formed in 1990 to provide training and work experience for people with special needs. Over the years the organisation has developed projects which not only benefit people with learning disabilities but provides valued and much needed services to the local community. Through a range of activities Basics Plus is making a significant contribution to the region’s rapidly expanding social economy.

Open to members, partners, family and friends. Tickets (no charge for members as this is a Club meeting, and priced at £30 each for non-members to include the meal and coffee, entertainment and casino chips) are limited and going quickly, so I would urge members to obtain their tickets asap to avoid disappointment.

They are available from either me, Simon L, Stuart, Steve Slade, Mike Shingler and Richard Grunwell.
