Gentlemen – why not go back in time to the 1980s when the roads were empty and petrol cost £1.28 a gallon and enter a team for the 41 Club Car Treasure Hunt on Saturday 16 August starting at 3.00pm.
The event organised by Chairman Richard and Vice Chairman Simon starts and ends at the Blacksmith’s Arms in Cloughton. There will be a staggered start to avoid traffic congestion and each team will be allowed 2 hours to complete the Treasure Hunt.
Teams should comprise 2-4 people. Only 12 teams will be allowed on a first come first served basis so complete your online application form available below without delay. Applications must be received no later than midnight on 5 August 2025.
The cost of entry is £5.00 per person. The prize for the winning team is the venerable Kirby Cup with a bottle of wine for each team member.
Post Treasure Hunt meals should be pre-ordered direct from the Blacksmith’s Arms’ evening menu on 01723 870244 by 12 August. When ordering do not forget to book a table for between 6.00pm -7.00pm and mention that you are participating in the Treasure Hunt. Teams will be responsible for the payment of their own meals direct to the Blacksmith’s Arms on the night.
Remember to check that your car insurance does not exclude participation in car treasure hunts and at all times comply with all relevant road traffic legislation and the provisions of the Highway Code. Participants are responsible for their own actions while taking part and 41 Club is not responsible for how or when clues are completed.
