News of charitable donations made from monies received from the RoundTable Santa’s Sleigh

With a decision on whether the RoundTable Santa Sleigh will operate this year imminent Treasurer Iain believed it would be of interest to members to know what charitable donations have been made by 41 Club from the monies collected in previous years.

The monies received from RoundTable are:

£1226 (being 50% of 2024 takings);

£1000 received October; and

£1000 received November.

The 41 Club donations to date are:

September – £400 each to Martin House, Sparks Project and Westway Open Arms – this being £1200 out of the £1226 received from 2024 takings; and

November – another £340 each to the three above named charities this being out of the £1000 received in October supplemented by £20 from the £26 balance of the £1226.

Please see the acknowledgement of the £340 donation made to Westway Open Arms set out below.

The £1000 received in November remains in the Club’s charity account awaiting a decision from members as to which children’s charities should benefit.
