Thanks to our esteemed Secretary Mike for providing a copy of a letter recently received from National President Jason Thomson congratulating our members on the Club reaching its 70th Anniversary.
According to Mike a copy of the letter appeared in the most recent edition of the 41 Club National Newsletter. For those members who did not see a copy of the Newsletter the letter is set out below:

| Dear Mike, With the National Association of 41 Clubs Great Britain and Ireland celebrating its 80th Anniversary in my Presidential year (we were formed in 1945), it is particularly appropriate to congratulate all members, past and present, of Scarborough 41 Club on achieving your own significant milestone, your 70th affiliation anniversary, in the same Presidential year. According to our Club Administration System (CAS), Scarborough 41 Club was affiliated to the National Association on 15th March 1956, so it is my immense pleasure to offer congratulations on behalf of the National Association of Ex Round Tablers’ Clubs, Great Britain and Ireland to you on this impressive achievement. As National President for 2025-26, I am fired up to work with all our members in 41 Club for a year of progress, camaraderie and ambition. In celebrating your 70th and the Association’s 80th anniversaries, it is a time to reflect on past achievements, appreciate the dedication of members and also embrace the journey ahead. We have a proud heritage to uphold but also a future to shape, ensuring our clubs remain relevant, welcoming and impactful. The strength of 41 Club lies within its members being passionate, committed, driven individuals who aim to make a difference; in reaching your 70th milestone, Scarborough 41 Club encapsulates all that is outstanding about our Association. Please pass on my congratulations to all your members on reaching such an historic milestone and look forward to celebrating with you on the 21st March. |
