This year marks the 70th anniversary of the formation of Scarborough 41 Club. With several of the 41 Clubs formed in the same year having fallen by the wayside this achievement is something to celebrate.
For this reason Vice Chairman Simon and the hard working members of his Committee have arranged a 70th anniversary celebration at Scarborough Rugby Club at Silver Royd on Saturday, 21 March 2026 with the National 41 Club President Jason Thomson in attendance.
The event starts at 7.00pm with members and guests invited to meet in the bar for pre-dinner drinks to be followed by a 3 course sit down dinner. After dinner entertainment will be provided by Soul Rida: a Scarborough-based, 8-piece soul band with an excellent reputation playing music from over 4 decades.
During the evening there will be a charity raffle and auction to raise monies for St Catherine’s Hospice and Andy’s Man Club in Scarborough.
The event is open to partners and members are encouraged to invite guests. The ticket price is £37.50 per head. The dress code for the evening is lounge suits/cocktail dresses.
Members wishing to attend should complete the online members booking form which should include the name of any partner attending the event. The cost of the tickets will be debited to the member’s 41 Club account.
Guests wishing to attend should complete the online guests booking form which should include the names of all guests attending the event and where relevant the name of the member who invited the guest(s) to assist with the table plan. Payment for guests is due at the time of booking and the booking form includes a secure method of payment by credit card. There is also an option for the making of a charitable donation by anyone not wishing to attend the event.
