Here we are nearly into November. As I write there is a blast from the North giving me the dreaded thoughts of what winter is possibly about to dish out this year.
I must say it was a delight to find another venue (Wrea Head) coupled with the extraordinary exploits of Dr Sutcliffe. I was truly humbled. He has asked us to make a contribution to Saint Catherine’s Hospice, therefore I have sent a cheque for £200 on behalf of the club.
The next meeting is the Beaujolais evening at Fledglings, so I hope you can all make it as it will be a simply tasty evening.
Alex Jowett of 88 Round Table, is throwing a RT Bonfire Party on a field at the back of his house on Saturday November 3rd and has asked me to offer the invite to 41s. the details are to arrive from 6pm – the fire will be lit at 6.30pm and food will be supplied from then.
