Good morning all
Please find below my weekly FB post regarding the situation at WOA foodbank. We remain really desperately short of many items and the very high distribution rate continues unabated. As always, any publicity would be greatly appreciated.
With very many thanks on behalf of WOA.
Best wishes
Gordon
Week commencing 15/7/20
An enormous thank you once again for all the hugely generous donations to Westway Open Arms food bank in Eastfield – people’s generosity is both amazing and humbling – it really all does make a huge difference. Over 80 emergency mainly family food bags are still being distributed weekly – thank you so much once again for making this possible.
We continue to run extremely short of the items listed below – many shelves have almost completely run out.
Please note we are unable to store and handle fresh fruit and vegetables. Currently we have a plentiful stock of pasta and tea bags. Food donations can generally be presented to the main entrance between 10am and 12 noon on Monday and Tuesday, or between 4pm and 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Alternatively I’m happy to have things left with me and I’ll take them across. There is a yellow box and wooden stall by my front door to drop things in – I can sort it from there.
With very many thanks again – and please continue to share
