Gentlemen – your Catering Officer has arranged an interesting new venue for the next meeting the newly revitalised Grand Hotel on St Nicholas Cliff on Thursday 15 October 2026 with the meal to be followed by a talk entitled “ The Birth of the Grand Hotel” by local expert and historian Stewart MacDonald. Will members please meet in the ballroom of the hotel at 7.00pm with the meal to start at 7.30pm prompt. The ballroom is situated on the first floor at the top of the main staircase to the right of the main reception foyer. For those interested in a pre-meeting drink your Catering Officer has suggested meeting in Dickens Bar on the corner of Huntriss Row at 6.15pm.
