Inspirational talk by Alistair Sutcliffe

sutcliffeVice Chairman Richard Grunwell has extended an invitation to all members to listen once again to Alistair Sutcliffe and his tales of derring do on the highest mountains of the world.

You will recall that Alistair spoke to 41 Club recently but, if you would like to hear him again, or if you missed him first time around, please get in touch with Richard.

The event is on 16 May 2014 at 7.00pm and is being hosted by The Rotary Club of Scarborough Cavaliers, with all proceeds going to the Club’s chosen charities and the Hospice. It is at Scarborough VI Form College.

Tickets are £10 and include canapes and snacks.

Tickets are also available by contacting Scarborough Tourist Information Centre, or via Mike Wilkinson on wilkies53@btinternet.com or 07918 714879.

ps Some good news to add value and interest to the evening – as you may have seen from Alistair’s website, one of his adventures was on a motor bike to Timbouctoo- by a strange coincidence we shall have that bike with us at the 6Fc on the night. It was bought from Alistair by the brother of Prontaprint’s David Mortimer. He is a real fan of Alistair, and is coming up from Kent to attend the event, and will becoming by bike.
