1188: The Banner That Never Was, 1980-81

Many thanks to Ken Eley for his photograph.

Ken writes:
This is a picture of a prototype banner for Castle 1188 that prompted a great deal of humour and division during my year as Chairman in 1980/81, and which was ultimately given the thumbs down by members and consigned to the bin.

It became “The Banner That Never Was”.

The interesting thing about it is that it has the names and roles of the Table Council for that year printed on it.
