Scarborough wins best National 41 Club website – for the third time!

Our Club has received the following email:

Gentlemen ,

At the AGM on Saturday I announced that the judging committee awarded the best Website award to Scarborough 41 club for ‘Life’s a Beach.’

I currently have the trophy so will try and sort how  we can get it to you from Berkshire – maybe I can get National President Wynn to assist as he lives in Yorkshire .

41 Club National Newsletter and Winter Magazine: November and December 2021

Dear Member

Please find attached a copy of the Winter Magazine – the hard copy of which is currently being printed and should be arriving on your door steps before Xmas. There is a most regrettable error in the print edition of the Magazine which incorrectly lists Ivan Bratty, who I’m pleased to say is very much alive, amongst the obituaries on page 31. This was an error and I have spoken to Ivan and apologised for it – fortunately he is a forgiving person! The error is corrected in this e-version but the print copy had already been printed.

You can find copies of all the newsletters on line at https://41club.org/pages/41-club-newsletters if you have missed any others.

For those who missed the recent Meet the Board Talk, or the Gardening Talk by Rory and Peter, recordings of both are now available on the www.41ClubConnects.co.uk website. You can also find recordings there of most of the other 41 Club Connects Zoom events so do check out any you missed.

Also attached is the November 2021 Newsletter which did not get sent to you due a technical glitch.
